Elizabeth “Eli” Wood PA-C

Elizabeth J.K. Wood PA-C, or “Eli” as she prefers to be called,  joined Westside Dermatology after practicing for more than 12 years, most recently at Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology of Issaquah. She is excited to now be living and working in West Seattle, transitioning from living in Seward Park and working in Issaquah.
A “Seattle Native,” Eli grew up in Steilacoom, Washington. She studied oil painting, sculpting, and woodworking at Virginia Commonwealth University and that training, as a visual artist, continues to help shape her cosmetic senses when she’s working with patients on Botox and Dermal fillers. Eli ultimately graduated with degrees in Chemistry and Health Sciences, holding a Masters in PA studies from the Pacific University of Oregon.
Eli’s interest in dermatology stems from a fascination with the skin as the primary regenerative organ system in the body. “It is our protective layer and the first line of defense against our environment. I understand that when patients are itchy, uncomfortable or feel embarrassed by different skin disorders they need immediate relief and comprehensive care.”
Having started her professional career as a massage therapist practicing injury and chronic pain recovery, Eli has always focused on a holistic approach to medicine and healing, with a passion for total health and wellness. She is excited to include the many lasers in use at Westside to perform optimal laser treatments to help patients achieve their goals.
Here at Westside Dermatology, Eli will be seeing patients for general dermatology (full skin exams, biopsies, treating acne, rashes, and psoriasis) as well as cosmetology (including Botox & Juvederm fillers) and multiple laser procedures.
