Gap Year Medical Assistant – Hand on experience side by side with doctor
Hourly rate: $25-28/hr plus a comprehensive benefit package
8-hour and 10-hour shifts M-F
Lake Washington Dermatology is a small and welcoming medical practice that provides exceptional care to patients in our local community. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and provide support to our dermatologists and patients. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing medical assistance to dermatology providers, including rooming patients, updating all components of the patient’s medical history, documenting reason for visit and history of present illness. Assists the provider with office procedures including, but not limited to, biopsies, surgeries and treatments for various skin conditions. *This is a float position between multiple offices, based out of the Kirkland office*
Must be able to commute to Kirkland

High school diploma or GED

1-3 years of previous MA experience

1 yr SCRIBING experience required

Current vaccinations

CMA certification a plus!

Dermatology experience preferred

6:45am – 4:00pm shifts will vary to meet the needs of the practice.
Minimum of one year commitment. May be required to travel to multiple locations.
